About CMoR Camps
We are currently accepting registrations for our Spring Break Camps! April 5th-9th
In Camps at CMoR you can travel to another country, be an artist, perform wacky and wild experiments and even whip up a tasty treat.
The Children’s Museum of Richmond runs a co-ed day camp for children aged 2 ½ through 9. The Camp's goal is for participants to have a safe, noncompetitive, nurturing experience where they have fun, make friends, and build self-confidence by conquering challenges and developing new skills.
Our camp staff is dedicated to making each campers experience one to remember. The camper/counselor ratio in the class will be between 3:1 and 5:1 during core camp hours of operation. We have four defined goals for our campers by which we measure our success: (1) that children have fun (2) that children make at least one new friend for each week they attend camp; (3) that children new to our camp try at least one activity new to them for each week they attend camp; and (4) that children develop a sense of independence defined as being comfortable away from home at day camp.
Summer Camp registrations starts for members Feb 1st and opens to the public Feb 15th.
