Experiment, create, express and explore! The Art Studio encourages both individual and collaborative visual arts experiences utilizing a wide variety of recycled materials, child-sized tools, and innovative art techniques. Many types of media including painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, and crafts are explored through color, patterns and textures.

The Art Studio at the Children’s Museum of Richmond encourages children to discover their own unique artistic expression through the process of creating. To find out more about the importance of the creative process in childhood learning & development, click here!
