The Children’s Museum Needs Interns!
Interns have a unique opportunity to work with Children’s Museum leadership and staff at an exciting time in the Museum’s growth! The CMoR internship experience offers in-depth opportunities for students & recent grads seeking a program that combines fun and hard work.
- General Internship (year round)
- Graphics Internship (year round – stipend available for graphic design student))
- Marketing/PR & Special Events Internship (year round)
- Development Internship (year round)
- Education Internship (year round)
- Art Education Internship (year round)
- Early Childhood Internship (year round)
- Guest Services Management Internship (position available for September 15 – December 31)
- Non-Profit Leadership Internship (year round)
- Junior Internship (Summer Only – For Rising High School Seniors)

When families volunteer together, parents have an important opportunity to serve as role models and plant seeds that can grow into a lifelong commitment to community service.

WANTED: Check Out These Special Needs!
Museum Mascot Volunteers
Engage the affections and imaginations of children by performing the role of CMoR’s mascot, Seymour the Dinosaur! Perform at scheduled appearances at CMoR, greet and entertain guests, and pose with children for pictures.
Museum Shop Volunteers
Do you have retail and cash handling experience? Are you searching for an afternoon opportunity? Our Museum Shop is seeking someone to help out in the afternoons and during weekends with customer sales and service, stocking of merchandise, and close-out procedures.
School Group Chaperone Volunteers
Help school children visiting the museum in large groups get the most out of their field trip experience! Volunteers will be paired with a small group of children, providing assistance with hand on activities and supervision in exhibits area.

Adopt-A-CMoR-Maintenance-Project!
- Do you know a scout whose troop would like to adopt the planters on our front plaza?
- Do you have a corporate team that could perform landscaping tasks in our Backyard?

The Children’s Museum changes lives in big and small ways every day. If you have a special story or unforgettable moment to share relating to your volunteering experience at CMoR, we’d like to hear about it.
